The total unemployment rate for all levels of education has fluctuated over the years. In 2000, it stood at 6.8% and increased to 7.2% in 2001. By 2009, it reached its peak of 8.5%. However, in recent years, it has been gradually declining. In 2019, it dropped to 5.7% and further decreased to 5.3% in 2022. Despite a slight increase to 5.4% in 2023, it remains relatively low compared to previous years.
